Robert L. Schein, AIF® is Managing Director, Partner, and Chief Investment Officer of Hightower/Blanke Schein Wealth Management. With more than 25 years of experience as a financial professional, Robert demonstrates a strong commitment to both his clients and community.
Robert leads the asset allocation, design, and implementation of the investment portfolio review process for Hightower / Blanke Schein Wealth Management. He specializes in developing and supporting investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families with complex estates, as well as philanthropic and retirement planning needs.

Robert also specializes in the leadership of a community and forum where independent women can acquire the confidence to be leaders in their financial lives. As Founder of The Society of Financially Empowered Women Inc. (www.thesofew.com), he has vowed to empower women with education, support, and community. Robert’s passion for financial education for women runs so deep that he created his own 501(c)(3) non-profit to champion his mission. The result: A summit was created for the Empowerment of Women, through Financial Education and Self Care, and in January 2020, the Confidence: Women + Wealth + Wellness Summit (CW3) debuted to rave reviews. In 2008, Robert was honored as a top financial advisor by Reuters AdvicePoint. That same year, he co-authored the book, “Bridging the Value Gap”. In 2014, Robert was recognized as a "40 Under 40" Financial Advisor by Investment News, and in 2015 he received the same recognition from On Wall Street.
Robert graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in Finance and Marketing. In 2007, he earned his Investment Consultant designation from the Wharton School of Business. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and holds the Series 7, 63, 65 licenses and is a CA Insurance license holder, 0D16099.
Service above self has been evident in Robert’s community leadership roles, raising well over
$2.5 million for local non-profits. Robert has served on the Board of Directors for many of the Coachella Valley’s youth and education-based institutions, including Family YMCA of the Desert, La Quinta Rotary, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He also served as Board Chairman for the Valley’s only Jesuit High School, Xavier College Preparatory, from 2010-2012 and again from 2017-2022. He also designed, implemented, and served as Chairman of several Sustaining and Capital Campaigns for Xavier College Preparatory (2006, 2007), YMCA of the Desert (2004, 2005), and LifeStream Blood Bank (2019).
Additionally, Robert and his team have been approved to work with Fidelity Charitable, which specializes in efficient and effective charitable giving solutions used by individuals and families with substantial assets, complex planning needs, or tax circumstances.
Robert resides in Indian Wells with his wife and four children.
